What is the overall height of the base? The legs are 12" but does not provide full product dimensions.

Can you put this frame inside the bed I already have and can I use my mattress?

 

Yes, you can put this assembly inside your bed frame, and depending on the type of frame you have yes you can use your mattress. I have an adjustable king, two frames, which required two single mattresses. the sheets are two single with one king size top sheet. Works good. I'm happy with the features of my adjustable frames, make sure you get the features you want on your adjustable frame(s). Good luck!
